JustUs Seeking the Common Good: Community Care

Did you know special elections receive on average 3% participation of available voters? That means 3% of eligible voters are making decisions for the other 97%. Early voting is taking place right now for the Dallas Bond Program and open DISD School Board seats. In caring for our community, faithful feet need to make it to the polls. Read on for information regarding the issues and make your voice heard.


The 2024 Dallas bond package is an investment in our city’s quality of life and school board members are an investment in our children. Here is some brief information with links where you can learn more:

  • A – Streets and transportation: $521,200,00

  • B – Parks and Recreation: $345,270,00

  • C – Flood protection and storm drainage: $52,100,00

  • D – Library facilities: $43,530,00

  • E – Cultural and performing arts facilities: $75,200,00

  • F – Public safety facilities: $90,000,000

  • G – Economic development: $72,300,00

  • H – Housing (affordable): $26,400,000

  • J – Information and technology: $5,000,000

  • L – Homelessness solutions: $19,000,000
