Deacons

Deacons serve as Christ’s hands and feet in our own community as they nurture members of the congregation. Deacons are elected by the congregation for a three-year term to serve on the Diaconate and are assigned to serve a Parish (geographic areas of the Metroplex). Deacons meet the second Monday of the month at 7:00 PM.

Elders

The Session is the government board of the church. It functions like a Board of Directors in many cases, but its members are also the spiritual leaders of the church. The Session is comprised of Elders and the Pastor. Elders are elected by the congregation for a three-year term to serve on Session and are assigned to serve in a particular ministry area. Session meets the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 PM.
