SUNDAY SCHOOL 

Unless noted, Children, Youth & Adult Sunday School classes gather at 9:30 AM each Sunday.

 

NURSERY (Age 4 and under - Rooms 48 & 50) 

Available during the Sunday School hour and worship.

​

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME (11:30 AM - Room 48)

A Bible story for preschoolers is offered in the nursery. 

​

CHILDREN

Children grades K-6 will gather for music and opening activities in room 36. Then, they will divide into their classrooms for Bible story lessons.

  • Grades K-6 drop off in Room 36

  • Grades K-3 pick up in Room 37

  • Grades 4-6 pick up in Room 31

 

YOUTH

Sunday morning the youth are led through Bible studies and topical discussions by adult volunteer leaders.

  • Grades 7-12 meet in the Youth Lounge. ​

PRESBYTERIAN YOUTH CONNECTION

PYC is our youth group and has special events throughout the year.

Our first events are Group Dynamix on September 16 and the traditional Youth Olympics on October 15.

ADULTS

Adult classes meet regularly on Sundays throughout the year, with certain exceptions during summer months.

POLO (Parents of Little Ones)

Parents of Little Ones, drop off your kids in the nursery or at Sunday School for discussion of life, faith, and parenting.

Visions

Room 35

The Visions class members include parents of teens and young adults but welcome folks of all ages to join them. The class participates in topical and biblical discussions, lectures, and doing service projects together. Fall highlights include Jann Treadwell leading a series on Jesus “I AM” Statements.

Genesis II

The Genesis II class enjoys group discussions led by class members or visiting teachers, as well as gatherings for social and service events. Fall highlights include “Faith of Abraham Lincoln” led by Bill Sanderson and OT Prophets (and others) in Art led by Mimi Smith. Everyone is welcome!

 

St. Andrew’s Class

The St. Andrew’s class enjoys lecture style teaching with discussion, as well as social fun events. While the class was started over 50 years ago, they continue to welcome new members. Fall highlights include “Why We Pray” led by Michael Malone and Sue McCoy’ discussion on Falling Upward by Richar Rhor. Everyone is welcome!

Singles and couples (22-40ish with-out children) meet from 12:30 - 1:45 PM for lunch, teaching, discussion, and fellowship. Fall highlights include discussions on “Why Presbyterians Are Like That” by John Williams and social events. Please join us!

SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR ADULTS

MENTAL HEALTH & FAITH STUDY 

(3 Weeks | Dates: Oct 15 -29)

Fellowship Hall

Led by The Center Counseling

 

Week 1 (Oct 15): Embracing Connection, Self-Care, and Faith for Mental Well-being.

We will learn the impact of culture on mental health, how to identify a mental health challenge, practical strategies, and how to leverage our faith as a tool.

 

Week 2 (Oct 22): God is the Glue.  

We will discuss important ways individuals can help themselves, as well as identify the ways faith communities can be helpful in the healing. 

 

Week 3 (Oct 29): Screens, Social Media, Technology, and Mental Health.

We will review the information, discuss barriers of change, and identify practical solutions for breaking away from the screen and getting back into life.
