Mark's gospel portrays a Jesus on the move. His presence is sometimes welcomed and sometimes not. In Galilee he is confronted by Jairus a religious leader who summons him to heal his daughter. It is on the way there that Jesus encounters an unknown woman and heals her. She pushed her way through the crowd to get to Jesus. If we look at the story through our own eyes we will see that our assumptions are often wrong, and our fear gets in the way of reaching Jesus.. Click to listen to Rev.
