MOM’S CIRCLE meets 1st & 3rd Wed. of the month from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. in each other’s homes. Children are welcome. We've studied raising children in the faith, topical studies, parenting studies, and the Horizon Bible Study for women. This year we plan to read inspirational books and have a book club format. Newcomers are always welcome to join us.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY Plus meets in the Conference Room
every Thursday, 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Begins October 15
Topic: Helpmates, Harlots, and Heroes: Women's Stories in the Hebrew Bible by Alice Ogden Bellis. In this book, Alice Ogden Bellis examines women's stories in the Old Testament and the Apocrypha and shows how different feminist and womanist scholars have interpreted these texts--texts that have profoundly affected how women understand themselves. This book will be an adventure for us and take us in a new direction. We are excited by the possibilities and would be thrilled to have new faces with new ideas and opinions! Women of all ages are welcome and we hope you will join us!
