NorthPark Presbyterian Church

A major part of our Capital Campaign is designated to new ministries, local and global. 

We will be expanding the Equip program in VIckery Meadows, right here in our neighborhood.  Through Equip, families who are at risk of losing their home will work with financial and family mentors, learning budgeting skills, receiving resources for educational opportunities, and setting goals for the future.  Equip can prevent a family from becoming homeless and offers skills and encouragement toward a secure future.

We will also build an eye clinic at TumuTumu Hospital in Kenya.  We have a relationship with this 120 bed hospital through donations of necessary equipment and an eye clinic is vital in this area were, often, poor nutrition contributes to poor eyesight and diseases of the eye. Members of NPPC plan to visit in 2011 to strenghten relationships and learn of other ways we may be able to serve.
