NorthPark Presbyterian Church

Faith/OnTap (www.faithontap.net) meets on the 4th Sunday of every month from 5:30-7:00 pm at Highlands Café in Lake Highlands.  At Faith/OnTap our Pastor, Brent Barry, along with church members Tom Byrne, John Kenny, Tom Blackwood, Chris Klemme, Kyle Smith and Rev. Shane Whisler lead us in an exploration of all kinds of music from a faith perspective.  A wonderful assortment of food and drink are served throughout the evening (church members Kathy Stewart and Anita Siegers are part-owners and manage Highlands Café).   

This exploration of music and faith was started by Brent with his long-time friend from seminary Shane Whisler in the spring of 2006 to look at themes of faith in the music of U2. Since then they explored the music of Johnny Cash, Coldplay, The Indigo Girls, Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Bob Marley, Radiohead, Eric Clapton, and Elvis just to name a few.  Recently, Faith/OnTap was covering the music of Sara Hickman and Sara showed up to sing!
