NorthPark Mission

The Mission Committee of NorthPark Presbyterian Church leads our congregation in its efforts to fulfill this part of our call as Christians.

Our outreach is a broad one…. from hunger and homelessness, to caring for the elderly, the sick, as well as our focused efforts in the Vickery Meadow Area.  Men, women and children of all ages, races and backgrounds are touched with our caring and concern.

Our programs originate at NorthPark, but can reach out to all parts of our city.  In some instances, we have joined together with other caring organizations, agencies and churches to share our money, our time and our talents in trying to assist in every way possible where our help is urgently needed.

As you review these programs, you will recognize that one of the key ingredients is the time invested in them by volunteers.  No program could function without some input from people who selflessly commit their time and their resources in a variety of ways.  A wide variety of opportunities are available.  Our covenant commitment is strong and positive.  No offer of time is refused - - no effort goes unnoticed.  The need is great, and the rewards are many.  We ask that you prayerfully consider how you could contribute in some way to any one or more of the programs. You are needed and wanted!
