Lenten Devotional: Easter Sunday
He is Risen. He is Risen, indeed!
We have come to the end of our Lenten Devotional Series. We have explored the Ten Commandments, Lord's Prayer, NorthPark charge, Apostles' Creed, and the events of Holy Week. Wow! What a journey it has been.
I want to thank M.E. Clary for faithfully editing and posting these devotionals, as well as Kelly Staples for being my co-author. Mostly, I would like to you for reading the devotionals and giving us the inspiration to keep it up.
As you know, Easter is never the end but only a beginning.
So may you be Eastered from the darkness of Thursday to the dawn of this day.
Eastered from the dead certainties of Friday to the new possibilities of this day.
Eastered from the clashing conflicts of the week to the hope of peace found on this day.
Eastered until the Ten Commandments are followed and the Lord's Prayer becomes a reality.
Eastered until there is enough food shared,
enough love dared,
enough peace tried,
and love of God and neighbor are seen everywhere.
